Rwan Saffarini Hardesty

Rwan Hardesty is a grifter. I once witnessed her leaving the courthouse and in the parking garage her son was in her car waiting for her. It was over 100 degrees outside and this woman let her young child sit in the car waiting for her to finish work. I almost called the police. This woman should not... have children.

I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Bar. It has been 6 months and she STILL has not returned my remaining retainer or sent me my file, both of which are required. She took forever to finish the work (months and months), her work product was ok, but the biggest issue is how she played b...ait-and-switch on the cost. Once she had my retainer, suddenly I wasn't worth her time and it was pulling teeth getting her to respond. The total was way more than we discussed. Since I put a retainer down, she already had my money. When I tried to discuss these charges, she was extremely short and wouldn't even discuss it. Some specifics: - She charged me for emails that never occurred - She charged me $35 for each invoice, and charged me for the automated email that told me there was an invoice. - She forgot to attach a document to an email (which she charged me for), then charged me again for the follow up email with the attachment - Worst of all, she asked me if I wanted to do more work. I said no, and that I wanted to just stick to the original agreement. She asked me to sign a form saying that she offered me and I declined. I didn't think anything of it, so I told her I would. She charged me for all of those call/emails where she was trying to upsell me, and charged me for drafting the letter unrelated to my original services. I refused extra services, but she found a way to get money out of me anyway ($600+ for extra services I declined) Rwan fits that negative lawyer stereotype. She is the queen of nickel and dime and bait-and-switch.

I highly recommend Rwan Hardesty for anyone seeking an effective, fair, honest, and hard-working lawyer. Rwan represented me in a very tough civil case involving defamation. Rwan is honest, fair, effective and always open to hear and listen to my concerns (no matter how bizarre and type A of concerns they were). Beyond that, she is highly intellectual and discovered (through her many hours of work) several loopholes, clauses, etc that assisted my case. Rwan helped to make this experience a smoother and more affordable one for me and I cannot stress enough how honest and hardworking this woman is, ready to respond and communicate at all times. She’s a real shark, but a nice one! She won EVERY SINGLE case/motion against me, including in appeals court. Rwan Hardesty was recommended to me by a lawyer family member and I am highly satisfied with not only the outcome of my case, but my overall experience as a client with the Hardesty law firm.
