Mishty Deb

Gitanjali is a talented attorney who has worked extensively in the governmental, non-profit, and private sectors. She has a strong academic background as a President Scholar from SMU. 

After graduating with dual degrees in economics & environmental science, Gitanjali pursued her law degree from the University of Texas. While at UT, she was an editorial board member for Texas International Law Journal and for Texas Journal of Women & the Law. Upon graduation Gitanjali was admitted to the Texas bar and began working for the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) as in-house counsel specializing in small business loans and complex real estate title issues. In 2008 she moved to private law practice. Gitanjali has since worked for small & large businesses as well as non-profits, entrepreneurs, and private land owners. She also specializes in complex divorce cases involving business assets and IP.

As a strong leader, she has a talent for forging solid alliances with strategic partners while establishing consensuses across multiple levels. Gitanjali’s primary focus is to provide practical counsel that helps transform long-term business goals into reality while addressing daily operational challenges. She has also published several law review articles with her unique ability to draft innovative and persuasive arguments. She has successful helped reach out of court settlements on a variety of cases through mediation and negotiation.
