Finding What Other Lawyers Could Not

I received a DWI in 1991, another in 2000, and regrettably a 3rd in the Summer of 2017. Facing a felony in Johnson County, and the realization that I am an alcoholic, my future as a husband and father seemed very dim. First, Mr. Mason was brutally honest with me in our first meeting, which helped m...e prepare for the unknown. Then, he encouraged me to seek professional treatment, telling me: "You focus on the future, and let me focus on the past." Within a few months Mr. Mason was able to discover my DWI conviction in 1991 had been dismissed, a fact my attorney in 2000 never even attempted to investigate. I have no regrets or resentments for this, only deep appreciation for the quality and attention to detail Mr. Mason provided. All roads led me to this place, and I will be forever grateful. Thanks to the support of family, The Center for Therapeutic Change, and the active program of Alcoholics Anonymous, I have been clean and sober since June 17, 2017 . . . but even more importantly . . . Thanks to Bill Mason and his staff, I am not a felon. My road to recovery is clear, and my legal standing is better than I deserve. I and my family are in deep appreciation for Mr. Mason's counsel and his legal expertise.

Excellent Criminal Defense Lawyer (DWI)

I retained Bill Mason to defend me for a DWI charge. Trust me when I tell you that this was not a simple "over the legal limit" offense. I mad a poor choice, and Bill helped me through the scariest time of my live. He was extremely patient, nonjudgmental, honest and knowledgeable about the kind of ...defense I needed. He did not over promise, and he delivered beyond my expectations. He kept me calm and informed throughout the process. I got an amazing plea deal with some community service, a low fine and no jail time. Even after my case was concluded in February, I have still been able to follow up and get additional advice and assistance from Bill. He truly cares about his clients. I highly recommend him if you need a defense attorney.

"I endorse this lawyer. Having worked around Bill Mason in the same community for many years, I can say without hesitation that he is the best trial lawyer that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He is highly esteemed and admired by his fellow attorneys, who frequently seek him out for advice and counsel on complex legal issues and questions concerning trial strategy. I have seen Bill Mason try many complex criminal cases to juries, and his knowledge and skill in the courtroom always astounds me. In my opinion, you won't find an attorney who is more competent, more knowledgeable, more ethical, and more experienced as Attorney Bill Mason."
