Elizabeth Jean Whitaker

I hired her when my first two lawyers did nothing for my case. Within my first hour of talking to her about my case, she made me believe that she could help me. She showed me a magazine where it said she was a "super lawyer" and was one of the best lawyers in town. I bought into her story paid her wh...at she asked for. She asked for my final decree signed by the judge and she said that she was going to reopen my case. Time went by and I went to the courthouse, she said that she already spoke with the judge and that she didn't know it went through a final hearing. I don't understand why she couldn't have said that in the first place. I hired another lawyer after she dropped my case and when he looked into it he said that she actually failed to do her job because the case could have been reopened. I will have to file with the Bar of Texas to get my money back. I do not recommend her at all.
