David S. Kohm

Worst Law Firm I have ever worked with. They are liars and hustlers. They sent a Mexican man to prey on my mother and I at Accident and Injury Chiropractor, when their staff is all white and could care less about me. After 3.5 years and being made a higher offer, the case was still unsettled and they... made me believe the case was worth less than it was actually worth with their word play (hustlers) until today, when they made me accept $3,000 as I said that was the lowest I'll accept (when they assured me it could be a higher amount) and they kept $9,200 for themselves. $9,200 and I'm the client. Its not right, they don't care and are not there to help or support you... only to take a large portion of your funds and do minimal, horrible work, that they call you several times to get the same info as they are incompetent and a terrible law firm. Stephanie was rude and lied to me today as she knows the amount can be made right, thats the lowest I agreed to, not what I agreed to. They tricked me and acted as it was business. I recommend you stay far away from these people. You will regret allowing them to hustlers you too. I wanted to drop them immediately, but my mother was their client too, so I hesitated, BIG MISTAKE!!!!!

I hired Kohm to represent me in my "slip & fall case". I fell and broke my hip in two places due to the negligence of the city. I lost everything I had because of this accident, at one point becoming homeless, and accumulated quite a bit of hospital bills. This is my first time attempting to take le...gal action against anyone for any reason so I just put my complete faith in Kohm. After not hearing anything for a few months, I called the main office to get an update on the progress of the case and was basically told to be patient because it would take some time. This went on for two months short of two years, never hearing anything from the lawyers office unless I sought out information. Finally I received a call from one of the secretaries informing me that Kohm was no longer pursuing the case or representing me. This left me with under two months to find another lawyer and try to sue city because the "statute of limitations " is two years from when the indecent occurred. It was like a hole tragedy all over again. It seems to me that Kohm is only out for himself and not the wellbeing or justice for his clients. Seeing that my case might actually have to go to trial, he decided that he didn't want to put forth the time or effort and just left me hanging . Dumbfounded and heartbroken. David S. Kohm is not to be trusted.

How this Attorney intervened in my call to the Dallas Co. records building I do not know, this was my first accident and he told me it was crucial that I hire an attorney right away, he sent out his investigator, and had me sign papers and like a dummy I did. after that I got nothing no updates, co...uldn't get my calls answered or returned, no communication what so ever for well over a year!! A year !! i had a new attorney every time I called and threatened to fire him, no one ever told me of a new attorney in the firm, no one knew anything about my case which told me they lacked communication within their firm, David Kohm thought the driver that hit us, was actually the driver of the car I was in, so that told me he knew nothing about the case after more than a year!!! I can't believe this attorney calls himself a lawyer he is a joke! Needless to say I fired him and got a real lawyer Daspit Law firm Thompson is his name and he was there everytime I called, he emailed me regularly and was awesome considering he had to work after the sloppy job David Kohm's did. It's only been about 3 or 4 months since I hired him, and my case is almost settled, but of course David Kohm's will get their hands on my money first, for what? He did nothing for me!!!!! Daspit Law firm is the best!!!!

Tommy Caryer was very thorough and prompt. Because he was representing he was also understanding and compassionate at times more like a friend. He would explain the appropriate course of action and why it was best, especially if your personal preference was detrimental to you in the finasl outcome. ... You never felt you were bothersome or on a time clock. Six stars out of five
