Biography
Rusty Phenix has devoted his career to the representation of people injured by the negligence or carelessness of others. He was born and raised in Henderson, Texas where he returned to practice law after his graduation from Baylor University and Baylor Law School in 1984. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial since 1994 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocates. He has been rated by Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top 5% of Practicing Attorneys in Texas. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and currently serves on the executive board for the East Texas Chapter. He is a member of the East Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of American and is a past president of the Rusk County Bar Association. He is also the past chairman of the District 2A Grievance Commission for the State Bar of Texas. He prides himself in zealously advocating for his clients seeking the most effective outcome to the problems presented in the most efficient manner available.
