Mr. Latchford practices a wide variety of civil litigation including: intellectual property litigation (patent, trademark, and trade secret), commercial litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, and employment law. Mr. Latchford’s broad practice has given him experience in many different aspects of litigation including: case assessment and research, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, hearing presentation, and trial presentation. Mr. Latchford has tried multiple jury trials to successful verdict as lead trial counsel and has been selected by Thomas Reuters as a Rising Star in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Shawn A. Latchford received a received a B.A. from Albion College, graduating magna cum laude, where he double majored in political science and philosophy with a concentration in law, society, and justice. While at Albion College Mr. Latchford was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. Before attending law school he traveled to South Korea and taught English.
Mr. Latchford attended Baylor Law School, graduating cum laude. While at Baylor Mr. Latchford competed on Baylor’s interscholastic mock trial and moot court teams. He was also an associate editor of the Baylor Law Review and a member of the order of barristers.
Mr. Latchford is admitted to practice in the States of Texas and Arkansas, all United States District Courts in Arkansas, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Federal Circuits, and before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Latchford is a proud husband and father of two.
