I am a Board Certified Social Security Disability attorney who has represented individuals in their claims for disability benefits.  I have been doing this type of work for almost 20 years and thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the practice.  It is rare to have a job that is truly satisfying, but I cannot think of another job that helps people in some of their most trying times.

While most of my work involves advocating for benefits by appearing at hearings or submitting briefs to the Appeals Council and Federal Court, I am also able to assist individuals in locating additional services which may allow for a later return to work.  This may involve medical treatment or vocational services.  I have found that most people want to be productive and get back to work, but lack the information or resources to accomplish this task.

Obviously, helping someone reduce the financial stress by obtaining their disability benefits is the primary focus of my practice, and to that end, we will help you to present the best case to the Social Security Administration.  This may involve collecting medical records, contacting your doctors for their opinions on how your impairment effects your ability to work, subpoenaing witness to appear at the hearing, and cross examining medical and vocational experts at the hearing.
