I was introduced to Dawna Kim July of 2018. After an unfortunate night, I was charged in Dallas County with a DWI. From stories I had heard of people with DWI charges I immediately thought the worse and thought my professional career was over before it started. I was involved in a resisting arrest case that resulted from a failure to stop at a stop sign, escalating to a failure to sign a citation to resisting arrest. The incident took place in Sachse, TX so obviously the police officers were not too professional or civil and had a point to prove. After months of waiting for trial, community service, and an anger management course, we were able to get a prosecutor that was willing to listen to the defense side of it. Thanks to Dawna and her experienced insight, they finally dismissed the case.
