Biography
Attorney Karen M. Burns grew up in a small town in Indiana. She learned at a very early age that hard-work is the only key to success. This has allowed her to get great results for her clients in court.
Aside from having a law degree, Karen went the extra mile and obtained a Masters of Law Degree in family law from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Ms. Burns is one of the few attorneys in the country holding a Masters of Law degree (LL.M) in family law.
Ms. Burns founded Burns Iwuji, PLLC because she wanted to create that small town feel where every client and case receive personalized attention.
Ms. Burns is happily married and is the mother of two boys. When she is not at her office or courthouse, you'll probably see her training for the marathon or race. She recently completed the Bank of America marathon in Chicago, Illinois.

She represented my brother in a criminal case but did not practice criminal law and even set him up thinking that the courts didn’t know something that they already knew. She will take your money and run
