Beware!!

If I could give negative stars, I would! In almost 2 years nothing has been done on my case. The only filing made was made incorrectly and not in accordance to the law. You cannot get a hold of her. Phone calls, emails and text messages never returned. She will not turn over your file or provide... copies to you. Please DO NOT use this attorney. Your case will be destroyed by her.

Unprepared and Doesn't Know The Law

Brigida is incredibly hard to get a hold of. While in my case, I had to call her and email her around 8 times to get a return call back, which took about two weeks. It ended up costing everyone involved more time and money that was needed. We ended up showing up in Court where she argued things that ...the judge explained were not even options to argue. I worry about anyone using her services in the future as she could really impact their case. That is my opinion, and appears to be one that is shared by many posting on here.

Very dissapointing experience.

Our initial visit was very encouraging and we handed over a $1500 retainer regarding a very difficult child custody case. We were supposed to hear from Ms. Rodriquez within a few days... When we didn't hear from her, we called. Then we called again... She would not return voice mails, emails, or text...s. We had a court date looming and were very anxious to visit with her. She did not respond to us or opposing counsel regarding very time sensitive issues. We had to find the money to retain a different attorney (who has been so attentive). The whole experience was devastating. And we lost the $1500 retainer we entrusted to Ms. Rodriquez.

An Experienced Lawyer that Means Business!

Mrs. Rodriguez was awesome! She is strictly business and does not divulge into things that are not important to the case. I think this is a great characteristic to have in family law because often times clients want to dwell on information that is not helpful. She quickly establishes ground rules ...in the courtroom to ensure that both sides and the judge are aware of the parameter of the trial. She knows the family code very well, and delivered life changing results for our family. At first she may seem distant, do not panic, she is still a fighter for the case, but she is not going to be in contact to talk about odds and ends unless she deems it pertinent to the case. This forced us to make some decisions on our own as well as not harp on little things that can add extra stress in a custody battle. We knew that if we shared with her something important she would always call us right away. We highly recommend her. In the end it is about results and that is what she delivered. We recommend her to anyone that wants an honest, experienced, driven, and no non-sense lawyer.
