J. Richard Tubb

As the founder of Tubb Law Firm, Rick Tubb has counseled clients and tried lawsuits in his hometown of Dallas and throughout Texas since 1982. His diverse practice includes business contract and tort disputes, business divorces, lawsuits over partnership property and corporate control, real estate, probate and municipal law. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in the state and federal courts of Texas; corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies of all sizes; as well as ordinary people who have been wronged and seek legal representation and resolution.

Rick understands that frequently the best strategy is to avoid litigation and focus on business solutions.  However, sometimes the courthouse, a mediation or arbitration is the only option. Should that avenue be necessary, Rick brings years of skill and knowledge to your side.

His legal career began with a firm now known as Godwin Lewis, but Rick also worked for several years with Bracewell & Patterson (now Bracewell and Giuliani). From 1991 to 1994, Rick served as a trial lawyer with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He opened his solo practice in March 2003.
