Biography
The peoples' representative; the peoples' lawyer. I protected client's rights long before becoming a lawyer. At LENOX LAW FIRM, we continue to fight for and protect our clients.
A graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, I joined the US Navy as a Nurse Corps Officer and served at Bethesda Naval Hospital. I cared for and represented an array of clients with various types of needs, physical, emotional and mental health. Later, I served in the Individual Ready Reserve while attending The University of Michigan Law School. After working at a major national law firm in Dallas, TX, I started the Law Office of Roger S Lenox in 1995, which is now LENOX LAW FIRM.
LENOX LAW FIRM is dedicated to the highest standards of legal representation. I have represented thousands of clients over the years, many of them mentally challenged. I kept them informed of their rights, options and the progress of their case, which allowed them to make informed and well-advised decisions. My calm demeanor, patience, keen listening skills and ability to break down complicated matters into simplistic terms have greatly facilitated and guided my clients through the stresses of a legal case. I will say Mr. Lennox is probably an amazing attorney when he is directly hired but having him court appointed was the worst experience and no help. Replied last December 14, 2017For the past several years, I have represented mentally ill clients through court appointments (they cannot hire me); many of which are not taking their medications properly, if at all, and are prone to be dissatisfied with anything and everything that happens to them. Until they are balanced with properly prescribed medications in the proper dosages, and engaged with appropriate services, they are likely to say anything, and often do. I empathize with this largely under-represented population and continue to strive to assist them in whatever ways are available, and that they will allow. Without their cooperation and participation in the plans and programs we provide, their success is doomed. "Terrible" describes the situation most of these clients are in when they come into our program charged with crimes. "Rehabilitated and Restored" is how most of the participants leave the program, along with having their case(s) dismissed. For many it is a long road, but for the ones inclined to apply themselves, it can be quite rewarding. The ones that do not apply themselves often go to jail.
