Poor services

As twin daughters both my sister and I enlisted in the Navy to do our share for the country, and we both are planning on doing 20 years and retire from service. This has been bothering for more than 1 year and I promised myself that after we got less busy with training and other military duties I wou...ld contribute my own personal thoughts that occurred with ***** ***. (self described as Lion-Law) My mother and both my sister and I were involved in a large accident that caused my mother to have leg surgery. During the 1.5 years or so **** Law had our case, we went through 4-5 different attorneys as they apparently leave as quickly as they come in. To make a long story short, we had to explain over the case and a new process started every time as a new attorney was appointed. As well as discuss depositions and explain all the evidence they had as the new attorney was unfamiliar with the case. We were so disappointed that I told them that I would be writing a bad review regarding my experience with their law firm. My father received a call/email from them saying that if we did not write the review, they will see what they can do about having us walk away with more money. There was even an amount of money that we would receive if we signed a document my parent still have, that states we will never write any bad reviews about the firm. We refused, I was not raised by my parents to sway away from my beliefs and to never lie about anything in order to receive compensation. My parents came from a communist country and this is one thing they said communism does to force you to think differently. Based on my experience it makes me wonder how many reviews Ive seen on the firm are true or even coerced into not writing or writing a good review based on getting more money on such settlements. This has been my experience with the firm and if I ever get into another accident god forbid I will NEVER call Thompson Law again. I do not recommend this firm

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
