Biography
After my career as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and Assistant District Attorney, I was chosen as Texas SuperLawyer for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. I have been selected Top 100 Trial Attorneys in Texas from 2007 - 2012, and I was highlighted in Forbes Magazine as the White Collar Defense Attorney for the Dallas-Fort Worth Area for 2010 and 2011. Wont hear from him in years
Do not hire John R. Teakell! He will take your money and will not do what’s outlined in the contract. You’ll be lucky to hear from him once a year if that. All my property was disposed of under him and he didn’t do anything with my case and sat on it!

Sad... Paid in Full Then No Contact
Paid money upfront, then was told to pay additional fee for polygraph which he said would help case but was only asked questions wasn't hooked up to anything. Once John Teakell received the full payment communications were all but non-existent and the case resulted in a 40 year sentence. Not happy wi...

Take the Money and Run
I paid him upfront only to defer my case and settle with a plea. Never returned a phone call or followed up on any of the promises he made. My case could have been dismissed prior to a grand jury indictment instead he decided it best for his financial interest to have the case continue in court.

John R. Teakell is a horrible attorney he will not return any of your calls are e-mails he will sell you a dream want respond to text message. Please don't hire this man to be your attorney. I hired him almost 2 years ago and he has only called me once in nearly two years.
