I hired Erin Hendrix to help me with a case that would’ve been a class A misdemeanor and that could have put my immigration status in jeopardy. With help of her friend Jeff Boncek they were able to bring the charge down to a class C misdemeanor that wouldn’t affect my immigration status. From the beg...inning she answered all my questions and gave me advice on what to do to help get the case resolved. Not only did she keep in touch with me to make sure everything was ok but she also kept in touch with my immigration lawyer to make sure the outcome of the case would not affect my immigration status. On top of convincing the DA to give me a charge that wouldn’t affect me as much as the original charge, they were able to keep me from having to pay $5,000 that the person who made the claim wanted as restitution. I ended up just having to pay the court fees & the fine for the class C misdemeanor. I still have probation but they let me know once that’s complete & the case is closed they could help me get the class C misdemeanor expunged from my record.
