Kunal Kiran Udeshi

Mr Udeshi failed to communicate with me after he fired one and another lawyer assigned to me left. I had a simple probate case and the only asset that i had a lien on for 20 years was sold last June and Mr Udeshi refused to speak with me and refused to withdraw from my case almost a year later. T...he lien was for back child support and his refusal to withdraw or assist in my purchasing the house sold well below market have left me with only unnecessary legal bills and having to report him to the Texas Law board.

They strung me along for 2 years, accomplishing nothing. There were long unexplained delays. They switched lawyers on me 3 times & never pre-informed me of the switches. I had to figure that happened afterwards. Therefore, no continuity. Accomplished little, but sucking up my pre-deposited funds... & doing nothing tangible for me. Did a terrible job. They finally withdrew from my case after I refused to send them more money, which I wasn’t about to do, based on their lack of performance. If you have been as disappointed in this law firm as I have, do any potential future clients of them a favor and report your issues to the Texas State Bar, as I have.

Getting him to return a phone call or email is like pulling teeth. His office filed paperwork at the wrong courthouse, then acted like they didn't know how to fix it. I figured it out myself and had to tell them. Showed up to court once, and they screwed up the dates so it was a waste of time. Not su...re how he actually passed any bar exam but I am willing to bet his good reviews are either fake or friends of his because his knowledge of the law and communication is terrible. I wasted several months and thousands of dollars. End result was me having to hire a different attorney and start over. New attorneys exact words to me where " I am trying to unscrew up your case"

I hired Kunal for a divorce case. He consistently changed his strategy and did not adhere to timelines for responding to discovery requests or submitting them to opposing counsel. He rarely followed through with strategy or next steps outlined in meetings. He basically did what he felt like doing ...and "researching" topics which he represented to me that he knew already (all while billing)...basically paid on the job training when charging what a competent attorney who claims to know family law should know. He was very unprofessional when talking with me many times. Finally had to let him go because deadlines were not met and I found out in October 2015 that discovery which he claimed was submitted months before (which I was told we would get a response in July 2015), was never formally sent to opposing counsel. Almost $7500 paid and no movement in my case. Actually put me in a worse situation than when he was retained. He also did not turn over my complete file to me. I was finally able to get with his previous employer to get what I needed so a new attorney could figure out what exactly Kunal did (which was really nothing but waste billable time wit opposing counsel). I hired another attorny who was able to get me the exact outcome I was looking for in less than 6 months. I wish I never wasted almost 10 months and $7500 working with Kunal.

Attorney Udeshi is the best attorney ever. I had two other attorneys before him. He was the only one to help explain what was going on or would take time to talk to me about the case, as the other attorneys would not. He always made time for me. I can not say enough about his talent and knowledge of ...the law and courts. I highly recommend him!
