I've hired her twice

The first time that I hired her was for a ticket. She was knowledgeable, patient and thorough. She aggressively pursued the outcome I sought and obtained the end result I wanted. I was so pleased that I hired her again. She just completed drafting several estate planning documents for me. Again,... she was knowledgeable, very thorough worked with me every step of the way. I'm glad I have an attorney that I can turn to if I ever need her again.

Inexperienc comes with a great cost

I hired Kenetra to help me get over the final hurdles of a nasty divorce where I was eventually denied complete access of my children in spite of having visitation orders in place. To make a long story short, Kenetra charged 250$ an hour (outrageous for her experience) and did a horrible job during o...ur one and only contempt hearing. She spent all of her allotted 20mim speaking to me on the stand (with no persuasive results) and didn’t even leave herself any time to cross examine my children’s mother who now has my children living in a house with a man that molester her as a child. Her inexperienced rung loud and clear that day and my children’s mother’s attorney was superior. Not because he had a good defense, but because Kenetra did such a poor and unconvincing job. The judge was so shut off by the end of Kenetra’s 20mim that she didn’t even notice my childrens mother say “he touched me, he did not molest me”, these were Kenetra’s own words. There are many facets one must learn in law school, and it is clear Kenetra did not fair strongly in the parts of her education concerning the court process. She was late on a few occasion to court, she was a push over, she didn’t object to anything my ex’s attorney said during our contempt motion and I had to defend myself from the stand, she did not know a few of the process. I gave her a good one on one review with minimal criticism but the more I sit up at night and think about how she completely blew that contempt hearing, and the money I spent, the more I regret not staying ProSe or hiring a more expierenced attorney. If you hire her, do so for 100$ an hour or less, as she became more of a administrative assistant that could do things easier than someone being ProSe than a take charge lawyer. If your in a fight with a tough OC, do not hire Kenetra.
