I joined Kilgore & Kilgore PLLC in 2017, as Senior Counsel, after 19 years as a shareholder with the Dallas law firm Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser. Between 1986 and 1993, I was a Partner, Shareholder, or Associate with several law firms in Dallas and Fort Worth. Prior to that, I served as a Captain with the Judge Advocate General’s Corp, U. S. Army. I am AV Preeminent-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Over my 30-year legal career, I have received numerous other awards and recognitions. After leaving the military, and during my affiliations with the aforementioned law firms, I was involved in the following types of matters:
Oil and gas cases: I have 30 years of experience representing operators, working interest owners, and royalty interest owners. This work involved in excess of 250 cases throughout Texas.
Environmental cases: I have 15 years of experience representing environment mitigation and litigation including a 120-acre site in Texas impacted by groundwater contamination from a major oil company, CERCLA (Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980) Superfund cases, RCRA ( Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) waste management cases, and representing manufacturers on Clean Air Act cases.
Receivership cases: I have 19 year of experience with receiverships worth millions of dollars in assets involving the SEC, the FTC, and Texas state courts. This work also included receiverships for liquidating or rehabilitating distressed businesses, assets, and post-judgment collections.
Real estate cases: This work involved litigation of distressed assets, environmentally impacted property, and condemnations.
Intellectual property cases: These cases included trade secrets litigation, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and employee poaching.
In 1974 I met my wife, Donna, on a blind date at the University of Texas. We were married in 1978 and have been together on life's journey ever since. She has given me two fine sons, Nathan, born in 1984, and Nicholas, born in 1989. Nathan graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006, and Nick graduated from Ole Miss in 2013. I greatly enjoy spending time with my wife, sons, and grandchildren. I enjoy golf, bird hunting, and attending Texas Ranger and Dallas Stars games. We like to travel as a family. When we cannot, a backyard barbecue is an ample substitute.
My personal philosophy is that lawyers should help facilitate solutions, not be part of the problems. I believe that the purpose behind litigation is to resolve a dispute, and not to prolong the process for personal gain.

I was referred to Clark by a friend for advice on a legal situation. Clark was very kind to take the time to fully review my situation, and provide amazing advice, guidance, and handled the case very professionally. We were able to settle, and couldn't have asked for a better result.

Clark handled a compensation dispute with my prior employer and was very effective in resolving the situation in my favor with all three involved parties.

What an ordeal. Before my legal woe's were finished, I had employed seven different Attorney's and three CPA's. While I always employed competent counsel, the shear number of them gives me a good perspective from which to evaluate Mr. Will's professional abilities and performance. Besides Mr. Will...

Clarke has been my attorney for 15 years helping me in a variety of legal matters. He has been responsive and very professional and I rate him very highly.

I have worked with Mr. Will on two occasions while he served as a Receiver. He is extremely knowledgeable in this area and agressively pursued the recovery of assets.
"Clark Will is a fine lawyer that does what he says he will do on time. Clark, is the President of our law school alumni chapter and he has been a leader in client education and client support. He has been active in the Bar. He is a former military lawyer and has an excellent reputation with govertnment affairs lawyers and those of us who do litigation. He is a 10 out of 10 for sure."
"Having worked with Clark on a large number of matters, I can state with complete sincerity that he is one of the most - if not the most - creative and intelligent lawyers I've ever known. Clark is able to think "outiside the box" and craft strategies and resolutions to sticky problems that would confound or discourage others. He is honest and ethical above reproach, and I would not hesitate to hire Clark to represent me should I ever find myself in need of an attorney. Clark mentored me, taught me a lot, and I truly consider myself lucky to practice law with him."
