A Pro with a Heart

Amy Shahan was recommended to me by a colleague. I found myself in need of a family attorney and she came recommended in the highest regard. Our first meeting was a difficult one and I found myself feeling nervous, confused, afraid and uncertain. Amy, however, was steadfast and exact in her guidan...ce and explanations of the legal process I was about to take on. Throughout my experience, Amy was professional yet caring and was more than willing to answer my questions and address my concerns at any time. She was available, knowledgeable, and fair. I would recommend her services to friends and family, and quite frankly I already have! Her professionalism, dedication, and no nonsense approach eased my uncertainties and nervousness throughout the process. Amy Shahan will be your fighter when called upon. She delivered an overall "good" experience through one of the most difficult times in my young life. I highly recommend Amy Shahan!

Highly recommended

Amy is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She is also a caring person who took the time to know me as a person, rather than just as a client. She is very professional and did an excellent job for me. I would recommend her highly.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
