S.O.B.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hired Mr. Lyons do work on a case for my mother. I spent over 15 thousand dollars for that SNOB of a man!!! He made my mother and I feel as if we're peasants to him. He is not the fool he favors. He is a rude man that deserves no clientele. I am his family too. Wow!!!!!!!!! That goes to show that e...ven your family can make you feel like an outsider.

best criminal attorney you can hire

Mr. Lyons has handled three cases for me over the years and each time his services was immaculate, some people don't understand that you do not go in an attorneys office with a long story about your case. Attorneys hire their own investigation people and they are some of the best. I would recommend M...r. Lyons to anyone with a criminal case, you can't go wrong he is the best.

Scammed

I hired Anthony D Lyons for my husband's defense paying him $3k towards his quoted $25k fee. He spent almost 2 hours hyping himself up to me and never asked about the case. When I attempted to tell him about the case, he cut me off saying that he does his own investigation. He told me that he woul...d pull the evidence that was supposedly had against my husband himself. Over the next 2 months, he visited my husband for about 5-10 minutes here and there telling him the same thing. He never pulled the evidence and would always pretend to be pulling it up at the jail during visitation but would suddenly realize that there was no internet access. Which attorneys already know. Eventually my husband started to question his intentions and told him that he felt that we had been misled and lied to because he had never looked into the case or pulled the affidavit to review. He jumped to his feet as if he was so disturbed and threaten to quit because he is "Anthony Lyons and he doesn't have to be questioned". He called me and told me that he will no longer represent my husband because my husband called him a liar. (my husband said he felt we had been lied to). I tried to explain to him why we felt this way and asked why he had not pulled the evidence in the case and he said to me word for word, " I DO NOT NEED TO PULL IT, THE DA HAS ALREADY TOLD ME WHAT IT IS." I asked him how he could represent someone not knowing and seeing the evidence for himself? I told him that this was unethical for him to mislead us and then quit the case for no legal reason. The next day he drafted a letter, which he also submitted to the court along with his motion to withdraw, stating that he quit because I called him unethical but I said that after he quit. He alluded to facts of the case that had not been tried yet, in an attempt to make the court aware of my husbands guilt. He added an itemized list of his services saying that he spent 5 hours with my husband but he had not ever spent 1 whole hour. He stated that he spent 3 hours reviewing evidence, but had already admitted that he never pulled the evidence on a call to me, which was recorded. He even had the audacity to say we still owed him money for a case that he never reviewed and walked off of. His entire itemized list was fabricated. In a criminal case, he is not required to even submit the itemized list but he did so in an attempt to try to make it seem that he had worked on it. Since he had no LEGAL reason to abandon the case, he made up one. He stated that my husband refused to cooperate with the case. He did not expound on what that meant because that would require a big lie. My husband had not been to court one time, how was he not cooperating? His reason was stated clearly in the letter. He said he was called a liar and unethical. THAT is why he abandoned the case, he made up the "cooperation" part to be able to show legal reason to abandon the case. He took $3000 from us with NO intention on seeing this case through.

All hype no action

As a follow up I wish we had kept the thousands of dollars we spent on Anthony. He did absolutely nothing for our case. He put off the case for several months but when it came down to it he would not do what we paid for. after paying him $10K we had to spend another $3K on another lawyer to do what ...he would not. All I received was an email from him stating I could not contact his office any longer and that I was basically harassing his office. Really, I made 3 calls to ask u to do what I paid u to do. If anyone had bother to return my call I would have stop calling. Don't waste your time and money. All he is doing is fund-raising. He doesn't realize the hell ur family faces with his inaction.

Jury is still out..

Anthony is very knowledgeable but rude. He will take your call or see you but makes you feel he doesn't have time for you. I can't say that he has done a lot for our case but this is my first time needing an attorney for our family. I will say the information that he provides when you can talk to him... is informative but he says everything in such a rude way and will cut you off. He makes you feel dumb about the law but that is the reason I'm coming to you because you are the expert. He spends a great deal of time talking about who he knows and what he has done. His staff is not that friendly but they are efficient. Our case is still pending so we will see what the outcome is.
