Written word is almost insufficient to express how grateful I am to the Law Office of Patrick J. McLain! The entire team did such a superior and professional job for me, in my hour(s) of need, it has taken me almost a month (from the end of the trial) to put words to paper, and express my gratitude.... In December of 2021, while volunteering at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Christmas party, I was unjustly accused of ”inappropriately touching” two young ladies. I had done nothing wrong, and refused to plead guilty (or no-contest) to something I did not do. While it was ONLY a Class C Misdemeanor, my reputation in the community was at stake. In a small community, and to a “home town” Community Banker, reputation is of paramount importance. Patrick, Eric, Jerry, Michelle and the entire team treated it (and me) like it was a life and death matter, because to me, it WAS. The, interviews, delays, discovery, scheduling, re-scheduling, additional witness interviews, multiple prosecutorial postponements and changes went on for OVER a year and a half. Through it all, the team at the Law Office of Patrick J. McLain kept me informed, protected, prepared, and ready for battle. When I finally got my day in court, Eric, Jerry and Patrick were there every step of the way, by my side, defending me against misstatements of the prosecutor’s witnesses, and the slanderous, manipulative overreach by the team of prosecutors. In the end we prevailed; a unanimous decision by the jury of NOT GUILTY on all charges. Again, I cannot express an appropriate level of gratitude, nor recommend higher, my lead attorney Eric Durojaiye, Chief Investigator Jerry Ray, and all the members of the team at the Law Office of Patrick J. Eric and the staff at McLain law firm took over my case and immediately I felt as though they cared more about my case than my prior attorney.
