Charge: DWI 3rd (felony level) Results: Misdemeanor Class A I hired Omar Nawaz through Gabriel Loya in the small office in Oak Cliff near Clarendon and Westmoreland streets of Dallas, TX. Yes that office is in the sketchy part of town but it's not the main office. Gabriel is straight forward with... no BS. My dwi arrest was on labor day 2016 and I finally settled on 11/14/2017. Omar Nawaz explained the strategy from the start and instructed me on steps I needed to take to gain the favor of the judge and DA as well as build a supporting case as to why I shouldn't be punished with a Felony degree dwi and instead obtain a misdemeanor conviction at the worst. I completed every item he requested and he kept me informed on any developments at each court setting. We did have to have court dates RESET many times but this wasn't a surprise because he did explain it would be part of the process. His assistants (Rebecca and 1 other but I forgot her name) were knowledgeable of the process as well and kept me updated via MYCASE.com or cell phone. Payments to Omar can be made online (super easy) or through regular cash, or checks. On the day of my sentencing the court probation office attempted to push his way with me on the sentence and I didn't feel comfortable answering any questions and I stated I would wait for Omar to show up.. Well long story short, Omar will stand up for you and piss some people off but he'll get the job done even if he has to go above to the next level of the management chain within the court. Overall I'm satisfied with the results, cost, and representation. I have recommended his services to ALL people I've run into that have similar issue.
