Traffic violations handled
Before Vonda I had the hardest time (2+ years) with my driving record and obtaining my license. I was literally working to pay surcharges. She took my case and handled it, treating it like her own. She didn't set any unrealistic expectations... I showed up to court and walked out with my license. And no surcharges!!!!

Pitbulls, skirts and Handling business
Vonda helped me on my child support matter this year. My child's mother was trying to get her child support reduced (yes she got me custody of my son). Ms. Bailey did not only prove that she was a fraud but also got my child support increased. I'm happy not only of the outcome but her diligence and no bs attitude on my case. Thank you, Ms. Bailey!

The Divorce Lawyer
I hired Ms. Bailey for my divorce case and I was very pleased with her level of professionalism and knowledge of the many aspects to a divorce. There were times when I did not fully understand what was taking place and she would take the time to breakdown everything I needed to know, and would let me know what I needed to do in order to make her job easier. I would highly recommend Ms. Bailey to anyone who is searching for a divorce lawyer. She made the transition much smoother. Definitely for divorce drama, call Vonda.

Extremely professional "pit bull in a skirt"
Vonda Bailey is an amazing attorney! She fought hard on my custody case and although the judge did not rule in my favor, I would refer her to anyone! She lives up to her name "pit bull in a skirt" because she did not take any drama. Legal drama, you better call Ms. Vonda Bailey!!

KEEP LOOKING
By far the worst in Texas. She doesn’t communicate nor does her staff. You will be better off representing yourself. I had another lawyer review my case and confirmed what I knew. She is indeed a joke.

Failure to communicate
The worse experience ever. She turned a simple traffic citation into a nightmare. Her office failed to communicate even when i made calls every week to follow up on my case her assistant jose never had any information. Well to sum it up she went to court signed a plea (which i knew nothing about) later on i received a letter from the county stating that i had been held in contemp and that i was facing a capias warrent if a certain amount wasnt paid. I reached out to her office and basically after she signed the plea she was to return with the money agreed to pay and didnt. I had to go through a mutual friend to reach out to her because everytime i called her office she wasnt there and wouldnt respond to any of my emails. After speaking to her she didnt take any responsibility for the lack of communication and said they had the wrong address on file. Which i found odd because a week after i met with her i received a thank you letter in the mail from her office. She offered to send a motion to the court which she did. Then later on i received another letter stating that my license had been suspended due to a guilty verdict and $780 worth of surcharges not to mention the reinstatement fees etc. I then reached out again and i couldnt get any information. I then had to find another attorney and miraculously once ms.bailey found another attorney was contacting her aboit my case she responds to my email and says that ive been harrassing her and that she owed me no duties and that the motion she sent out was out of courtesy. How is this courteous when your firm was in the wrong and is the reason im in the situation i am in now? I ended up having to take a chance and go to the court myself and speak with the clerk and explain my situation with this horrible attorney i hired and they removed everything and allowed me to pay the orginial agreement fee. Oh and i failed to mention she also took to her personal facebook page (which i have screenshots of) and decided to write about our situation and called me disgruntled and found it amusing. Is that professional? I think not. Shes one of the reasons why people dont trust black people when it comes to business. Sad to say. Unprofessional and her illiterate assistant smh! Do better vonda!!!

$7500 retainer
She came highly recommended and i am now highly disappointed. She stated that she would handle the case from start to finish but didnt. I paid a retainer of 7500.00,which I later found out that most retainers are between 2000-3000. Now i don't have an order, i am just in limbo. I would recommend to you to retain someone else, there is Drama with Vonda.

Response from Syvondia Bailey December 13, 2016
Good afternoon! Our office prides itself in providing exceptional customer service to our clients so your feedback is very important. In an effort to be proactive on future cases, would you please explain the problem areas with your case, i.e. the lawyer's professionalism, timeliness, amount charged versus services received, any results from the attorney's representation, why you do not have an order, etc. The response provided does not quite give us insight to any problem we could readily address. If you would please explain your exact issue(s) about the service, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend hiring this lawyer
I hired Ms. Bailey to handle a simple child support review case. In the beginning, I felt as if she was an excellent attorney, but as my case continued I became dissatisfied with her services, and I began to question her information and billing practices. The 1st thing she did was told me that my wife could not be present at our consultation because everything was confidential. I found this questionable, but had no reason to doubt her. Since then, I have retained the services of another attorney and discovered this is not true. Secondly, I was told by a member of Ms. Bailey's staff that I did not have to show up to a court date because it had been changed. However, I received a notice from the attorney general that I did need to show up for this court date. Since I received this notice on a Friday evening and the court date was scheduled for the following Monday morning, I had to attempt to contact Ms. Bailey's staff over the weekend to see what my next step should be. I finally reached them on a Sunday afternoon, and was told that a mistake had been made and I indeed did have to show up for court. I then had to rearrange plans and contact my employer at the last minute to ensure that I could make the court date. All of this was fine, but then I saw that Ms. Bailey charged me for every last phone call I had to make to her staff in order to get this information. When I told her staff (she was never willing to speak with me personally unless we were in court) I didn't understand why I was being charged for phone calls I had to make because of the misinformation I received from them, the only answer I got was that I was informed when I retained her services that I would be charged for phone calls. Mrs. Bailey also argued to have my case moved to a different court which meant everything would take longer and more fees for her. Now that I have retained new counsel, I have discovered this was not necessary as well. Lastly, I received a bill from Ms. Bailey stating that I needed to pay her $1500 (I had already paid $2089 for the original retainer) more dollars although I had $500 left on my retainer. I also had fees on my bill that I really didn't understand. I put my concerns in writing to Ms. Bailey about the confidentiality situation, the questionable fees, and having to pay for receiving misinformation. Again, her staff (which at the time consisted of her family members) just told me that I was told about fees at the initial consultation. It was at this point that I decided to part ways with this attorney. Since, I have obtained new counsel. My new attorney is much more experienced, much more ethical, much more reasonable, getting much more done, and I understand everything I am being billed for. Please save yourself time and money. Do not hire this attorney.
