Stacy Henderson is an attorney that was born to practice law. She won her first trial in 4th grade at Woodway Elementary in Fort Worth, Texas. From that date, her desire was to zealously represent people and to make sure that their rights were protected. As a high school student in Carrollton, Texas she interned for the City Attorney's Office of Carrollton.
Ms. Henderson attended Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sign Language Interpreting. While at SFASU, Ms. Henderson used sign language to assist persons on the campus with disabilities.
Ms. Henderson attended the University of Tulsa College of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate degree. She worked as a Judicial Intern for Probate Court in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she assisted the judge with legal research and attended numerous of Probate and Adoption proceedings.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Henderson returned to Texas and worked in private practice. Ms. Henderson has been appointed by the Probate and Family law courts as a guardian ad litem and an attorney ad litem. Ms. Henderson also worked for several years for the Texas Department of Family Protective Services. As a government attorney, she learned the inner workings of the Texas Department of Family Protective Services. Attorney Henderson has successfully tried numerous bench trials. She has also successfully tried jury trials to verdict.
Ms. Henderson has worked and lived throughout Texas. She has tried cases in Houston, the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and in the South and West of Texas. She has also traveled to several countries. Her experiences locally and globally allow her to represent people from diverse backgrounds.
Attorney Henderson has a special affinity representing clients in adoption cases. Ms. Henderson personally understands the adoption process and the wonderful experience of welcoming a child in one's forever home. She has the skill and compassion to assist clients through this process.
Attorney Henderson is also licensed to practice law in Arkansas. While living in Arkansas, she was a managing attorney for a non-profit organization that assisted persons with disabilities. She also worked on several projects that directly benefited citizens of Arkansas that are deaf and hard of hearing. In June of 2019, the Arkansas Association of the Deaf, Inc, presented Ms. Henderson with the AAD Gold Torch, Awarded to Individual in professional positions for leadership and advocacy contributions. Attorney Henderson's practice of law while living in Arkansas was rewarding and she looks forward to continuing to assist clients in Arkansas.
Attorney Henderson is now licensed in Georgia as her clients have requested that she represent them in other states. Stacy Henderson loves to practice law and help her clients to navigate their way through the legal system successfully.
