Biography
Jackie Wayne VanZant began his legal career in 2012 when he became employed at The Law Office of Jennifer Richarsdon as a legal researcher and trial assistant specializing in Family Law in Collin County.
Jackie continued pursuing his passion to work in the legal field, so while hosting a radio show in the afternoons, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Criminology. Shortly thereafter, Jackie attended and graduated law school at South Texas College of Law/Houston.
After earning his Juris Doctorate (law degree), Jackie returned to North Texas and began working at the Nix/Poet Law Firm in 2015 to expand his career by including his heavily studied field of Criminal Law.
After working at Nix/Poet for two years, Jackie decided to “hang his own shingle,” and opened his own firm in Downtown Sherman, Texas, where he currently services Grayson, Fannin, Collin, and surrounding counties in Criminal Defense, Family Law, Landlord/Tenant Law, and Personal Injury Litigation.

Jackie & Lindsy

Jackie and his assistant Linsy are wonderful to deal with! Jackie was abke to explain each step of the process thoroughly. Divorce can be scary. Jackie and Linsy always made me feel comfortable. I hope I dont need an attorney in the future. But if I do, I will be calling Jackie!
