Chip Jarvis is a U.S. Army Veteran who served in both the Infantry and as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) Officer.  On September 11, 2001, he knew that all Americans had to come together to defend our nation.  He knew it was his duty, even at 31 years of age and as a practicing attorney, to join the fight.  He sold his house, left the comforts of home and off he went.

 His legal experience includes work as an Associate Attorney; a Family Criminal and Civil Law Attorney; JAG Officer, Investigator; Legal Advisor to 2 and 3 star Generals in Senate and House Armed Services Committees; Chief of Military Claims in South and Central America; Associate Attorney in Sherman, Texas; and Assistant District Attorney in Collin County.

Couldn't have asked for a better attorney!
Chip was very nice and understanding from the first meeting we had with him. He listened and make sure we understood the adoption process, and was very upfront with us when need be. In my opinion, what made Chip stand out from others attorneys is that he was easy accessible. If I called, he usually answered or he would call me back within a timely matter. Chip was an overall great attorney and person, he made us feel as though we were not just "another case" to him but that we really mattered and that our wellbeing as a family was his upmost priority. I can not say enough wonderful things!!

Excellent Attorney
Chip is an excellent attorney. He was my anchor in the most trying time in my life. I recommend him to everyone needing family law attorney. When I was served with papers to change primary custody of my children, Chip was the one attorney who listened to the whole story and told me the exact legal rules regarding my case. Several other attorneys told me they wouldn’t even touch my case without a very large retainer upfront. Chip stayed in touch with me throughout the process and I maintained custody! For this, I am forever grateful.

A Great Man, Lawyer and Veteran
Chip has represented us several times. He has been my husbands attorney for a long time. He was on point, professional, and plays hardball for his clients. Amazing attorney

Case of First Impression
I had a case that hasn't been touched on before. My circumstances were rare. I had talked to an attorney or two before who had no desire to hear me out. Chip treated me and my situation with the up most respect. He was truthful with me even when I didn't want to hear it. I had days where I wanted to scream and he was more than willing to talk with me and calm me down. Truly one of the best lawyers I have ever encountered. He is a real person and truly cares. He doesn't treat you like a job. He gets invested.

Child support matter
Mr. Jarvis represented my wife on a child support reduction case.We had little to no hope. Mr.Jarvis was was very up front and honest from day 1. He had to transfer the case from Denton County to Collin County with no flaws. At the final hearing he represented so well the reduction wound up being less then half of what was expected. He is the best Family law attorney I have ever seen. I have been in Law enforcement for 15 years.
