Carla was the most fantastic attorney I have ever worked with. Family law Court is stressful and she always dealt with my concerns with patience, compassion and extensive knowledge yet when it's showtime she turns into a shark. It's not every day that you hear a guy say that he has been granted primary custody of his children. But, Carla saw how much I wanted and needed to have them. It was a difficult task from the beginning. Seemed like an impossible uphill battle that no attorney in their right mind would have wanted. ...My ex and I were married in Louisiana, we wanted to fole for a divorce in Texas, we were separated for almost 3 years, originally filed for divorce in San Antonio, and I had an attorney in that area that did nothing but take my money. For over a year, he just sat on my case and asked for more money without showing me any progress. Communication was horrid between the attorney and me. That's never a good thing. Then, things got really bad (health wise) with my kids. I critically needed to have them so they would be better taken care of. Carla saw what was going on and didn't hesitate to help me get the files from my old attorney, and start on my case. She had not even asked about payment or anything until she had her complete plan written out. She saw how urgent the situation was and she wanted the best for my kids, regardless of how difficult the case would get. After she got a plan together, got my paperwork from my old attorney, showed me how it would all end up coming together and walked me through her plan and process, step-by-step, she told me she would help any way she could and even offered a payment plan if I needed to have one. She told me everything that I would need to get in order for me to help her (pictures, emails, receipts, records for the kids). She even constantly checked on how my kids and I were doing throughout the whole ordeal. She took so much personal time to help me. She personally made sure I showed up to the court, made sure I had dotted my i's and crossed my t's. I was so prepared for this case because of her. I felt like I hadn't a chance in the world to lose. And, sure enough, we walked into the court room with all of my documents, pled our case to the judge (ex and her attorney didn't show), and without a blink of an eye the judge granted me custody, with everything else I asked for in the divorce decree, too. I do not think I would have been half as prepared or confident if I did not have her by my side throughout the whole thing. I separated from ex in August '13, hired S. B. (San Antonio attorney) in Feb '15, had the temp decree filed in Mar '15, paid attorney and waited... and waited... and waited. Visited my kids in Louisiana and saw their atrocious lifestyle/hygiene in April of '16, went back to visit in June (took pictures, made notes), received my daughter for visitation in July '15 (son denied visitation-personal reasons and prior obligations). Right away, I took her to the doctor for her hygiene issues and was told she needed surgery. And she needed it soon. I consulted with/hired Carla at the end of July, my daughter had her surgery on August 10th, received my son on August 23rd, wrote out and agreed on the divorce/custody decree on September 27th, and judge granted me custody of both of them and finalized my divorce on October 4th. Once I hired Carla, things started rolling and everything was continuously in my favor. She never had a doubt about the case, which in turn gave me all of the confidence I needed to know I was doing the right thing and that I could raise 2 children on my own. She is definitely one of the best, most knowledgeable, hardest working, family oriented, motivated, and determined person, woman, attorney, and friend I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Complete, incomparable greatness.

I have had quite an experience in the past with previous lawyers with different types of cases I've needed help on. I switched one time to use her for my business for drawing up certain agreements and have also referred her to a few friends and family for family law issues as well. I will never use a...nother attorney again. She has a vast knowledge of anything and everything for law. She is now my go to lawyer for all of my business needs. She was friendly, professional, gets things done in a timely manner and will respond to you in a timely manner as well, which is most important. She always keeps me informed every step of the way, and doesn't sugar coat anything. She gives realistic expectations and provides quick results, and everything is done right the First Time! I will continue to always recommend Carla to anyone who needs legal help or advice. It's just so hard to find a GREAT attorney that possesses all of the best characteristics in one.
