Experienced, Knowledgeable, Connected, and Responsive. Brian Corrigan is the Real Deal.

I made an honest, but admittedly stupid mistake during the process of moving to the North Dallas area. After changing travel plans at the last minute from rental car to a flight out of Love Field, I forgot to check one pocket in my backpack - that contained my firearm. Charged with "Place Weapons Pro...hibited," a Class 3 Felony, I was extremely worried about my future. Being new to the area and not knowing many people here, I had no idea which attorney to choose for help. After doing some due diligence including reading online reviews, I chose Brian Corrigan. His experience as a prosecutor in Dallas County unquestionably made a difference in my case. Brian took the time to patiently explain my situation, the prosecutorial process, and the potential outcomes. As I had no prior criminal history, I was extremely nervous and full of questions throughout the process, but Brian's confidence in a good outcome in my case was reassuring. Brian was always easy to reach via phone or email - he was very responsive. After having had nearly universally negative experiences with attorneys during the previous 8 years in an estate dispute, Brian proved to be a very pleasant surprise. His flat fee was an absolute bargain considering that he was not only able to get my case "no-billed," he was also able to get my large fine from the TSA reduced tremendously. I really couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. If I ever end up in trouble with the law again (God forbid) in the Dallas area, I wouldn't even think about calling an attorney other than Brian Corrigan.

No way to sufficiently express our satisfaction!!

After finding our family involved in the criminal justice system, we were sorely disappointed with 2 other attorneys. Being so distrustful of the legal system and attorneys after our previous experience, we had no idea where to turn. After trying again to research an attorney appropriate for the si...tuation, I was compelled to call Mr. Corrigan. He never over promised and under delivered, in fact quite the opposite was true. He was VERY attentive to our needs and that meant everything during such a stressful time. He was prompt in his responses and more that satisfied our expectations. Having previously been a prosecutor for the DA's office in Dallas, he was highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable in his field. After our first meeting with him, we knew that he was the person we needed on our side. Without a doubt, it's a blessing to have such a man with integrity, character and professionalism on the side of those who find themselves, albeit unwillingly and without guilt (IMO), to have someone such as Mr. Corrigan on the side of the accused, particularly when wrongfully accused. There are no words to sufficiently express our gratitude for him and his expertise! We would without hesitation say don't waste your money anywhere else! Go straight to the law office of Brian Corrigan!! You won't be disappointed!

First Offense DWI

It was a Sunday afternoon and after a few days of searching the Internet, leaving messages and emails for DWI attorneys, I was very fortunate to have discovered Mr. Corrigan on Avvo. I called and he responded the same day; he provided me with a high overview of the DWI court process, answered questi...ons, and he gave me a reasonable no nonsense quote. After the call, he was the clear winner on my quest to hire an attorney. What won me over? His sincerity, integrity, and professionalism. I did everything he suggested and the outcome of my case was much better than I had hoped. I was expecting to have an interlock device on my vehicle, 20+ months of probation and maybe some community service, but I walked away with 18 months (unsupervised) probation. He is a great attorney and I will definitely recommend him to others.

Third Degree Felony - Possession of Marijuana between 5 and 50 lbs. - reduced to a Class A Misdemeanor

I am overwhelmed in excitement on the outcome of my case. I was charged with possession of marijuana between 5 and 50 pounds. I mailed 10 pounds of marijuana through UPS and it never left the UPS store, because they searched the box for suspicion. After the box never made it to its destination, I eit...her thought the box was stolen or picked up by detectives. 2 weeks later detectives came to my home with a warrant to take my fingerprints. It took about 3 weeks for the lab results to come back. In the mean time I knew my livelihood was on the line. So I immediately got an attorney; big time attorneys, based out of California. Now, before I paid for the services of these attorneys, I was nervous, because I have always looked at attorneys as people that use your faults against you and intimidate you to thinking you may have to "x" amount of jail or prison time and lure you in to paying their overpriced hourly rate. In this case, I was right. They charged me for a federal case, because the box was caught by a mail carrier. They informed me of when I had to turn myself in, because the results came back positive. THAT'S ALL THEY DID. Well, I discontinued their services and continued researching for attorneys. I came across Brian Corrigan and another attorney that has a great reputation. The other attorney was just caught up on money. That was his only concern, which made me nervous. He told me to talk to him when I come up with the money, but he didn't know if i had the money or not. So, I moved forward with Attorney Brian Corrigan. Brian came off genuine and he really cared about my livelihood. He kept me informed on what was going on. He informed me that the case was not a federal case. He laid everything out on the table and told me every possible outcome. He had me submit personal documents to him and he put together a packet and a letter about the person I really am. That was amazing. Brian stayed on top of the prosecutor, but not pushy. He had the case reduced from a Third Degree Felony to a Class A Misdemeanor. The outcome of the case is jaw-dropping and he is more than money's worth. I would like to apologize for my thoughts on attorneys. It takes years to be an attorney and even more hard work to gain and maintain a good reputation.

I would Highly Recommend Brian

From the first phone call, I knew Brian was the right attorney for me and my case. He quoted me a fee for handling my case and actually stuck to that fee. He was very knowledgeable about the law, and how it pretained to the facts in my case. He was excellent about keeping me informed with the progre...ssion of my case, and what direction he intended on taking next. His demeanor to me as a client was never judgemental, and he made me feel very secure in the fact that we would come out on top of the "charges". And yes, we did. I later hired Brian for a second step of expunction in my case, and I was just as pleased with the results. Brian was my first experience with a criminal attorney, and I do hope my last. If you find yourself in a situation that you are seeking an attorney, I would hightly recommend Brian.
