Informed the officer that I did not realize that they were not on ...Because they automatically come on when you turn the vehicle on. He ask for my license ,but misplaced them offered to show another form of I'd & insurance. Since I could locate my driver license he wanted to get out of the vehicle and do a test . At that point he had already called for backup 2 other officers showed up. To make a long story short when the officer ran my plates he saw that there was a previous charge. I felt that he was just trying to found a reason to arrest me not only did he try to arrest me for a dwi ,but also resisting arrest. I have never had any kind of altercations with any officers in my life. Thank God for sending David to me as my attorney without him this could have went a differently . I was charged with a DWI and open container, i had a .247 BAC, this is my first time being in trouble with the law and in the works of finishing up school with a criminal justice degree and wanting to pursue a career in the legal field I had to make sure I had the best lawyer to represent me through... this case. In May 2017, I was sleep driving (DWI) at 2 am, totaled my SUV and was arrested at hospital. I contacted Mr. Burrows on Monday and made an appointment to review my case. After getting arrested for my first ever DWI I knew I needed a good lawyer for the best possible outcome. He truly picks up on every last detail, takes the “bad” and turns it around to work in your favor or glosses over it, and finds even the tiniest of inconsistencies and uses it to cast doubt on the prosecution. He has perfected his craft and is the guy you want sitting beside you if you ever find yourself in this unfortunate position. His prices are surprisingly reasonable as well to be as good as he is. He isn’t the most expensive guy in town, but was definitely worth every penny and more! He is very realistic with you and your chances and never promises anything, but does everything in his power to get you the best possible outcome. Bottom line is this is the guy you want if you have a DWI in the DFW area. You will not be disappointed!
