Attorney Avia Rice Gauthier advises clients on a range of matters relating to Family Law (divorce, father’s rights, custody & child support), Estate Planning (wills, trusts, probate & guardianship), Business Law (contracts, business entity formation, commercial debt collection & negotiations) and Bankruptcy (chapter 7 & 13). Avia has provided business and legal services for individuals, businesses and non-profit associations in the North Texas area. Attorney Gauthier is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, a certified mediator, mobile notary and signing agent.
Avia Rice Gauthier has over 10 years of sales and marketing management experience in addition to being admitted to practicing law in the State of Texas. Prior to starting her law career, she co-founded Bad Cat Interactive, LLC, a web development and Internet marketing firm.
While studying at Southern University Law Center, Avia served as a Lt. Governor in the American Bar Association, Christians at Law Service Chair, and Kaplan Student Representative. Additionally, Avia represented SULC in the National and Regional ABA and BLSA Negotiations competitions. While attending SULC, Avia was also the Nathan J. Folse Scholarship recipient.
Avia is an active member of ONE Community Church in Plano, TX, and is also a mentor in Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas and the Dallas Independent School District E-mentoring program. Avia Rice Gauthier, a resident of Allen, Texas is married to Tony Gauthier and has three step children. She enjoys community involvement, mentoring, life-changing conversations and traveling regularly. Avia also believes firmly in nurturing strong client relationships, engaging in consistent communication as well as thinking outside of the box.

Incredibly Understanding

No Refunds???
It’s been three months and I am still waiting on a refund from this law office. No response to emails. Totally being taken advantage of at a very stressful and crucial time of my life and my kids life. God is the ultimate judge though and I know He will set things right.

Replied last February 01, 2019You broke your contract for not legitimate reason. Our refund policy is very clear. Every time you have reached out to my firm we have responded, with the except of two days ago. I have been out of the office very sick. You have sent multiple emails and I have replied to ALL of them. So please don't post untruths. I don't create the stress in peoples lives, I help them through it. God sits high and looks low...which is why I ALWAYS take call of my clients. I have a heart. Which is why you were referred to me in the first place. It is precisely why my firm is thriving and why I keep getting referrals.....because I am an atty with a heart and one who cares. And lastly I will say, this is vengeful. I thought that belonged to only 1 person.

DO NOT HIRE
She is one of the worst lawyers ever. She was not prepared for my case her paralegal has the worst attitude ever. All my documents that was requested from her was lost to use for my case. By far one of the worst ever

Replied last January 24, 2018Really NF? I over prepare for all of my cases as I did for your case. You as well as ALL of your witnesses well in advance. You had sample questions to review and look over. I also had exhbibits that I presented. Can you honestly say that you were a good client? Did you listen to us and pay your contracted retainer on time? Further no documents were lost, instead you let them sit at our office for months. We then mailed them to you. And I would hope that anyone reading this would understand that if you gave us documents, that you already have them in your possession and could get them again. All of this is FALSE! I have 5 star feedback on another site for reason.
