Please beware—save yourself the heartache, time, and money. Run, don’t walk.
My experience with this firm was deeply disappointing and frustrating. From the moment the retainer fee was paid, the tone of the relationship shifted dramatically. What followed was a complete lack of empathy, poor communication, and a failure to provide even the most basic legal counsel. Despite r...

Shared Experience of Hired Counsel
Potential clients beware. You will see them at an inital free consult, be told how much they care and that children is important to them..(custody case) and then never hear back. Avia the principal of the firm stated that she is a litigator and a founder and that's why she didn't call back which is a...

Poor legal advice to get $$
STAY AWAY! Run! She’s dishonest, will advise it’s posible to get you all the things you want, once you’re on the hook, she will gaslight you and say she never said such things and bill you for chasing them when they don’t respond to any form of communication in a timely manner. They will make up bill...
I wish this were an honest and transparent review where the person noted their name so that I could address them directly. If they had an issue or problem, they should call our office and discuss it directly but since they failed to do so, here is my repsonse. Yes, I will say that this is an outright lie because I only handle billing and adminsitrative tasks at my firm as the founding attorney. Next, I am totally honest with potential new clients. I don't lie to get business. I don't have to. At times, my transparency has resulted in us not getting hired and I'm fine with that. Honesty first because that is what I would want for myself. I don't know that this person understands the true meaning of gaslighting. There's not need for anyone to doubt our billing because we are completely transparent. Our billing rates and the fact that we are a billable firm is on our client representation letter and our new client addendum. Both of these things were signed when this person became a client. When a person signs a contract or document, I would assume they read and understood the terms. Additionally, this person was also sent a video explainng how we operate as a billable firm. Its a shame that my firm would get faulted for them not reading, watching or not entirely realizing that we are a billable firm after it was shared before engagement and after engagement 3 different ways. If they had questions, we would have answered them. Our billing is clear and invoices are always available in out client management portal. This means that they can see their invoices are anytime. I'm wondering if this client believed we should have worked for free? Does anyone? We enforce our contracts just lke all other proessionals. That's not a threat...that's just business. We do realize that litigation can be costly, so we are one of the few firms that even have 12 lending partners that allow our clients to pay their legal fees over time. And we have payment plans! How is that gaslighting when we try to assist out clients with handling fees in multiple ways? This person obviously brought their case and problem to us to help resolve. That means the finger should be pointed at the opposing party that made their case more litigious which obviously meant there had to be additional billing. We help people solve their problems and we do it well. Please see our other 5 star reviews from our other happy and satisfied clients. Good luck to you!
