I'm not your typical lawyer. Prior to establishing my law firm in 1996, I was a railroad brakeman/conductor and trainmaster, worked in the North Dakota oilfields as a roughneck, provided environmental engineering services to clients across the country, and taught environmental law for 12 years at Texas Christian University. I am a graduate of the University of North Dakota, with a Masters in Environmental Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas and a law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. I have served on many community boards and organizations, most recently as a planning & zoning commissioner for the town of Flower Mound. I'm regularly appointed by the Denton County Probate Court as a special commissioner to determine property values in land condemnation cases. I am licensed to practice in all state courts of Texas, the US Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for the Northern District and the Eastern District of Texas.

William Brotherton and the Brotherton Law Firm Have represented me on several occasssions. From issues with bad contractors, to setting up my LLC. I would recommend his firm to anyone looking for excellent legal work and representation.
"I endorse this lawyer. William has been the opposing lawyer on many cases against me and he is a great attorney. When an opposing lawyer says that, it is a very high compliment! He is great in the courtroom, depositions and with his clients. Experienced, very well educated and worlds of common sense! One of the best attorneys in town."
