First, he communicated very clearly and calmly from the beginning. Tim sometimes has a very flat affect, and appears to be indifferent at times... I don't know if that's by design, or not, but I will tell you that my man Tim Lacy went to war for me. I was up on a probation revocation for a DWI with s...ix to ten glaringly obvious reasons to revoke probation, however, these were all situational amd circumstantial. Tim understood this. I paid an initial 750 to retain him then another 2750 for trial fees. This is nothing compared to what every attorney in Denton were charging. I was able/given the opportunity to make payments. When offered 300 days in jail I was scared. Time fought for months and got an offer of 60 days. But I couldn't do it at the time. Every attorney would tell you that that was a gift from this judge and I was a fool not to take it. When it came down to the last court date, Tim got the prosecution to lower it to 30 days then got the judge to actually accept this unheard of offer. Then got the judge to let me turn myself in later that day. Gave me a few hours more with the family so my kids didn't have to see me in handcuffs and carted away. I went in as a trustee and only served 13 easy days when the initial offer was 300. And no stipulations, no more probation, free and clear. Going with Tim is the only way this would have worked as well as it did for me. I cannot praise this man enough. Thank you man!
