Biography
Justin Wilson is the founder of My Dallas Criminal Lawyer and an award‑winning criminal defense attorney serving clients throughout North Texas. Justin earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his Juris Doctor from the SMU Dedman School of Law. He began his legal career at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, where he built a formidable foundation in criminal prosecution. During his tenure, Justin progressed from securing a conviction in his first jury trial to mentoring new prosecutors and teaching at police academies, gaining valuable insight into investigative procedures and courtroom strategy.
In 2016, Justin transitioned to private practice and founded his firm in 2020. Since then, he has received multiple professional accolades, including being named among Expertise’s Best DUI Lawyers in Frisco and earning repeated recognition as a Texas Rising Star. These honors reflect his consistent commitment to high‑level advocacy and results‑oriented representation.
Beyond his legal practice, Justin remains deeply engaged in community service and legal education. He is known for his clear, persuasive communication style and currently leads the Wylie Teen Court Program, helping educate and guide young participants through the justice system.
