I began my legal career at the DA's Office and ventured into private practice after spending almost 5 years as a prosecutor. I have tried all types of cases ranging from DWI's and misdemeanor thefts to aggravated assault and sexual assaults and everything in between.
My experience as a prosecutor makes me incredibly strong as a defense attorney for a few different reasons. First and foremost, I can and will give every client an honest and realistic picture of what they're facing with each case. I know what prosecutors are willing to offer and what they are not. I know how to creatively present our case to receive plea deals other attorneys might not know to ask for, and I also know when you don't stand a chance of getting a deal other attorneys might falsely promise. When you work with me you know exactly where you stand and what you face.
Second, I have worked with some of the best police officers in the state and I know what police work is supposed to look like. That means I know how to evaluate every case for holes and corners that were cut that can mean a weaker case for the prosecution and a better chance at aquital for my clients.
Finally, because I was a prosecutor, I have the trial experience necessary to be incredibly effective in the courtroom. I'm not scared to take a case to trial and fight tooth and nail for my clients. Some attorneys will overcharge for trial fees because at the end of the day they're not comfortable in the courtroom, but I am in my element when I'm in trial and so I'll never discourage you from a jury trial if that is what is best for your case.
More than anything, I'm an advocate. My clients know without any doubt that I am on their side every step of the way. Facing criminal charges is extremely terrifying but we are in it together.

From the minute Sarah stepped into my life, she has been nothing but compassionate and a real rebel for my cause. When no one else believed in me, she did, and she got others to as well. My case is extremely complicated, but Sarah didn't blink an eye when things didn't go as expected, she just shook ...

Sarah knows the law very well and is very well respected by the Judges and Prosecution in Colin County. She explained what was going on and how my case could end up. She also found that my case had been handled incorrectly and had it dismissed.

Ms. Fox returned my first phone call promptly. This was a very good start to our business relationship. In my opinion she went above the normally expected duties and went out of her way to get the results that was beyond what I was expecting. During the time we were in contact regarding the legal is...

My case was dismissed and I never saw a judge. This was the first time I ever needed a lawyer and I honestly chose the best one. I would recommend her in a heartbeat
"Sarah was a formidable adversary when working for the Collin County District Attorney's office. I am glad she is on our side now!"
"I had the privilege of having many cases against Sarah while she was a prosecutor for Collin County. She was tough and always advocated for her clients (the people of the State of Texas) with determination and poise. Still, she was fair and understood that I too was advocating for my clients. She has a great courtroom presence and definitely knows her stuff. I don't hesitate recommending Sarah to anyone looking for an aggressive, intelligent attorney that knows exactly how to fight and win."
"I endorse this lawyer. Sarah is an excellent attorney and great person. Having experience as a prosecutor, she understands the law and fights for her clients."
"In the time that I've known Sarah, she has proven herself to be a very good attorney as well as someone who is passionate about her clients. Besides being a smart, hard-working attorney, she is also someone who has an insider's knowledge of the criminal justice system as a former prosecutor. I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer."
"Sarah is an excelllent advocate. I highly recommend her for anyone in need of a strong, sharp, and smart criminal lawyer."
