I was arrested for DUI in Dec 2014 in Collin County. I think I got a hold of him in January 2015. He kept pushing back my case and kept telling me they may have some veteran aid coming up in the county and to just hold on. In short, he pushed back my trial to fight it to January 2016! That is when I ...found out insurance, work, ect all go off the date of conviction, not the date of incident. Joel knew this and never told me. DUIs take a while to recover from and this added a year to the process for me. If I knew the date of conviction was what insurance and jobs went off of, I would have set my trial date as soon as possible. I felt extremely mislead by Joel.
