Ben Capelle was born and raised in New Orleans, and has resided and practiced law in the Dallas area since 1979. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law in 1977. He is certified to practice law in all courts in Texas and several Federal courts. He was a founding and continuing partner of Capelle & Burdette, a firm in Dallas, for over 30 years. Following a few years of retirement, his passion for law and helping solve legal problems for families and business owners led him to create The Capelle Law Firm, serving primarily southern Collin and Denton Counties. He is active in the Collin County Bar Association, and currently serves as chairman of its Solo and Small Practice Section. His small firm is known among peers and clients for dedication, expertise, common sense, compassion and success.
