Cary Wigington

With over thirty-five years of experience, Cary Wigington represents clients in the practice areas of Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Business Representation, Formation of Entities and Commercial Real Estate. Early in his career, there was considerable involvement in construction, municipal, oil and gas, and business litigation. After working in Dallas for about ten years, Cary moved his practice to Lewisville in 1986. The practice relocated to its current location in Flower Mound in 2000. Located a few minutes north of the DFW airport, the firm serves much of the Metroplex and clients from around the State of Texas.

As the founder of Wigington & Dankesreiter, L.L.P., Cary has recruited and helped build a dynamic firm with an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Cary has helped the firm become heavily involved in representing individuals in their business endeavors. Wigington & Dankesreiter, L.L.P. offers large firm expertise with small firm personal service.

Cary is a native of Dallas, and is married with children and grandchildren. He has always been active in charitable and service organizations. Past and present participation include the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, Christian Community Action, Pediplace, and Rotary International. Although Cary has served in a number of leadership positions, he is more interested in hands on involvement and has participated in a number of volunteer construction projects domestically and outside of the U.S. Although not currently flying, Cary holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating and numerous instructor ratings, and has flown most of the United States and the Caribbean for pleasure or while working as a pilot. As an avid do-it-yourselfer, Cary spends many nights and weekends with tools in his hands. Recent projects include a house remodel and large retaining wall.
