Mr. Nemec has been practicing law in Texas since 2008. Valuable insight is gained through 16+ years concentrating in discrete areas of law. He knows the law. He knows most of the family court judges in North Texas. And he knows many of the other attorneys in Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, Denton, Johnson and Parker Counties and beyond. Mr. Nemec has appeared in well over 40 counties in Texas. You will be in good hands working with Mr. Nemec.
Mr. Nemec suffered a personal tragedy in Spring, 2022 when his wife and mother of his three teenage children unexpectedly passed away. As a result of this shock, Mr. Nemec closed his office for a period of time. He has since grown and focused on raising his beautiful children and building this law practice to be the best it can be. Since October, 2022, we are happy to report that the Law Office of Donald C. Nemec is now more organized, better staffed, and one of the most procedurally efficient law firms in the area.
Donald Nemec is licensed to practice law in all Texas state and district courts, including all federal bankruptcy, civil, and criminal courts for the Northern District of Texas. He primarily practices in family law, but also practices bankruptcy, estate planning, probate, and dabbles in a few other areas of the law.

A criminal waste of time and money
I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this completely useless attorney. This guy will only make whatever problems you have worse. He will not return calls or emails and he’ll most likely no-show for any consultations you book after you pay him. Earlier in this process I had to file a grievance with the s...
Dear Phil, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I genuinely appreciate your honesty, even though I’m saddened to hear about your experience. I want to sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience you faced during our time working together. As you may recall from the time I represented you, during that time, I was navigating a deeply personal and challenging period in my life following the loss of my wife. Balancing my professional responsibilities with the needs of my three young children was incredibly difficult as I adjusted to my new norm. While this is not an excuse, it does explain some of the challenges I faced in providing the level of service you expected and deserved. I value my clients and their cases, and I always strive to deliver the best outcomes possible. If you felt that I fell short, I am truly sorry. Your concerns about communication and responsiveness are taken seriously, and I have been committed to improving these aspects of my practice while reorganizing and rebuilding my practice after the death of my wife. If you are open to it, I would like to discuss your situation further and see how I can help address your concerns. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at 817-382-8333. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. Best regards, Donald C. Nemec
