Mr. Nemec has been practicing law in Texas since 2008. Valuable insight is gained through 16+ years concentrating in discrete areas of law. He knows the law. He knows most of the family court judges in North Texas. And he knows many of the other attorneys in Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, Denton, Johnson and Parker Counties and beyond. Mr. Nemec suffered a personal tragedy in Spring, 2022 when his wife and mother of his three teenage children unexpectedly passed away. As a result of this shock, Mr. Nemec closed his office for a period of time. He has since grown and focused on raising his beautiful children and building this law practice to be the best it can be. Since October, 2022, we are happy to report that the Law Office of Donald C. Nemec is now more organized, better staffed, and one of the most procedurally efficient law firms in the area.
Donald Nemec is licensed to practice law in all Texas state and district courts, including all federal bankruptcy, civil, and criminal courts for the Northern District of Texas. He primarily practices in family law, but also practices bankruptcy, estate planning, probate, and dabbles in a few other areas of the law.

As a solo family law attorney, practicing since 2008, my priority has always been to provide compassionate and effective representation to my clients. I don’t know when or if I represented you in a case, but if I have recently, I need to be transparent by saying that I have had personal challenges lately, as I recently lost my wife and have had to adjust to raising three children alone while running a law practice.
