Out of panic and fear that our case would be dismissed, I contacted the court coordinator to request a trial date and explain our situation. However, I was not aware that my communication did not follow the rules regarding ex parte, and as a result, my email was forwarded to Warmbrodt and OC. This ca...used Randy to go over the edge, and he immediately drew up withdrawal paperwork claiming that I did something illegal by contacting the court. The fact is that it would have NEVER occurred to me to even think about contacting the court had Randy not pushed us around so badly that we truly thought our case was going to be dismissed. Randy missed a filing deadline leading up to our first court appearance, and it was only by the grace of God that the Judge made a spontaneous ruling granting us temporary custody of one of the children involved in the case. All the preparation work we did was for nothing, but we were billed just the same. Similarly to what other dissatisfied, former clients have reported, we too: received threats of withdrawal when they wanted payment and we were up against a court deadline, had important questions and requests ignored when a payment was due, had filings done the very last minute while also being threatened that they would withdraw if we questioned the firm, had multiple people handling our case and who racked up hours of billing for internal meetings, and the list goes on. I wish we had researched more before picking this firm. We would NEVER recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM! We are also planning to report them to the Bar as I believe this firm's practices are unethical as they threaten, extort and prey on people during their most vulnerable time of need.

Amazing Attorney

Mr. Warmbrodt is absolutely the BEST attorney you can have. I have a difficult custody suit. Mr. Warmbrodt has always made me feel at ease. He his very caring and compassionate. I have always gotten a quick response from him or Kellie (his fantastic paralegal). They understand how difficult, emotiona...lly draining and frustrating they can be. He will fight for you! I needed a strong, knowledgeable, kind attorney in my corner. That's what Mr. Warmbrodt is. Everything has always been explained to me in laymans terms. All that court lingo can get confusing. I highly recommend this law firm for someone who need a family law attorney.

Guy worked for the other side!

I originally contacted and hired Warmbradt to handle a CPS contact initiated by my ex-wife and her husband through a summer camp.. I wanted him to simply be council in the CPS meeting. Randy Warmbradt himself advised that I get a TRO against my ex-wife, which caused her to get a TRO on me. Her TRO ...was granted on friday August 10th of 2012. My case would not have existed if not for Randy Warmbradt advising me to attack my ex-wife with a TRO. Then the financial pan started. Warmbradt and associates originally asked from me $5000 for a retainer. After he filed my original TRO on my ex, he and all but junior council went on a trip to austin, and then an extended vacation. Junior council could not combat my ex-wifes TRO. After my ex-wifes TRO was granted Margurite his legal aide told me the original $5000 was used up and asked me for sum of $10k for continuing the case, saying I still had a very good chance. That was on friday august 10th. I fired him on monday august 13th after he called me and began yelling at me because I told him that it was bad legal advice to go after my ex-wife with a TRO. Then I find out Warmbradt and associates will only refund $2500 of the $15,000 I gave him, supposedly for a lot of stuff that was never discussed and that supposedly happened before I gave him the $10,000 second retainer. I felt he charged me for things that were never discussed or agreed to because he got angry at me and was taking this out on me by keeping this large sum, which he has not only not earned, but instead caused me a lot of hardship that I wouldn't have to have.

Amazing Attorney!

Mr.Warmbrodt was a true blessing when it came to my complicated case that started in early 2017. My case was complex, but the office was very informative, professional, and flexible. My case was a custody case along with a potential divorce. By potential divorce, I am referring to my ex boyfriend try...ing to claim common law. We hit a home run in court and while I was a nervous wreck Mr. Warmbrodt kept me calm and helped me understand each step thoroughly. Mr.Warmbrodt and his team were incredibly quick and professional with all responses and gathering the documents we needed to prove our case. To say I am pleased is being modest. I will continue to use Warmbrodt Winslow and Associates and refer them to all family and friends.

Just wants your money! Period

I hired Mr Warmbrodt only to help get a protective order lifted, which he said he could do in 2 days if the other party cooperated, or 2 weeks if the other party did not cooperate. I gave him a $2500 retainer. After 2 weeks, he started to make it look like the other party was plotting against me and... that they were trying to fight me on every single issue. Later, when I was able to speak to the opposing party, they confirmed that no such thing had ever happened. Mr Warmbrodt said that the other party was trying to get and keep all of my personal property so he told me to write down all of my property in the house so that he could see if there was a dispute for particular items. After I did that, I never heard another word about the property. He created issues where there were none so that his staff could stay busy doing nothing, yet bill for it. He completely took advantage of me and the fact that I could not communicate with the other party. He created and filed custody documents in court without ever running them by me, which created high conflict where there was actually very little. It was critical that this be handled within about 2 weeks so that I could see my son. It was not handled at all. Every single time I heard from this man or his staff, they had bad news and excuses about why they were not successful. In reality, he didn't want to resolve anything. He wanted to create an illusion of problems, then tell you "I can help you and fix that...but wait, I need another $5000". The billing was beyond excessive. He kept resetting court dates because he couldn't make it, then would say that opposing counsel was resetting the court date. Once again, after speaking with the opposing party afterwards, I confirmed that it was indeed my attorney doing all the resetting when this was time-sensitive. It became VERY clear that he was only after money and did not care one bit about the situation or repercussions that I had to deal with daily. When I told him that I was out of money, he said that I couldn't terminate his services and that I just had to "ride the roller coaster" until it was over, which meant keep on paying him until there was resolution. At THAT moment, I knew that he was a liar and never talked to him again. The only pleasant person to talk to at that office was Melissa. Everyone else was not friendly or personable at all. He ended up getting almost $7500 from me. I would definitely not recommend this firm. I literally got nothing from them. He's extremely unethical and I don't know how he sleeps at night.
