She was knowledgeable and always available to talk and help... until I paid the retainer. then no contact, but invoice shows otherwise, deceptive practice. One phone call, followed by a rude email I did not ask for but was charged for, claiming I did not care about the cause. When advising that I do,... and felt offended, she then wrote an even longer letter, which showed she never was fighting for my side. She was very knowledgeable, but she took the easy way out by dropping me as soon as she took time to learn what I actually needed, but only then sent me an invoice showing my full retainer is gone, and not one question answered, nor one thing accomplished. She invoiced several meetings that did not occur, essentially stealing by not doing any work on this, at least not near the $5k she claimed. She failed on her word of sending me paperwork, and nothing in the invoice taking all my money shows her contacting the opposing counsel for any resolution on anything I asked for. I was never asked what I wanted or needed, when retainer paid. No contact. After one month, and advising of what is needed, she claims to be offended. Knowledgeable, yes, but when it came time for responsibility, work, she sends a threatening "we will jeopardize your case" letter saying she is dropping me, then says "oh, and we've used up your retainer in this time". Thanks to her, I have lost everything because she did nothing but enter friviouls/fake charges, made up facts to seem she did research, and never told me she was fighting for the opposite cause until the letter showing my retainer is gone when all I got was one phone call out of $5000. Do not hire, fraud, scam, bad. She can sell, awesome litigation, but takes the easy way out after you pay. Someone honest would say they will fight for one cause for this money, but not Amanda Martinez of Warmbrodt and Associates in Allen, TX. She takes your money and runs.
