If you call anyone other than Scott Palmer you’re a fool.

How many times have you heard “That attorney should charge more”? I can honestly say that about Scott. The worst morning of my life began with the FBI knocking on my door. We called Scott and another attorney immediately. The other attorney charged me $250 just to talk. Scott listened to our situatio...n at no charge and when the FBI returned at 8pm to kick the door in it was Scott who immediately took my case and began working. He was direct and remained calm through months of back and forth. His strategy was top notch and his advice was impeccable. He handled my case and got everything dismissed. I have spoken with others who had cases similar to my own and not one of them received the level of communication and service that Scott Palmer provided. He will let you know what is happening and what to expect next. I never felt like just a number with Scott. It felt like talking with a guy who wanted to make sure me and my family were cared for. This is the level of service you get with Scott Palmer. If I had to describe Scott in one way it would be: born fighter. Scotty is a fighter through and through. He refuses to give any ground...the other side has to take it and then prove why they took it. He earned every single dime we gave. Scott is not cheap, but I dare you to say he over charged you once your case is complete. You won’t. You’ll sound just like me “You know...that Scotty fellow should really charge more”.

Federal Case facing many years!!!

Attorney Scott Palmer plays chess, not checkers. When I think of reviews, it short changes the actual experience as words on a page can not account nor reflect the diligence, time, effort, resolve and tenacity that legal proceedings entails. It's an exhausting process that requires a solid team to se...e you through. Our family found that in Attorney Scott Palmer. He is more than a review, he is an experience. His years of experience are reflected in the quality of work he produces. He has tact, know how, humility and respect for the law. His valuable skill is one that is not seen in the courts often. Some lawyers you come across, they are seeking something from you and seem heartless towards your family, loved one and the process. I have to say, Attorney Palmer and his team have walked through this entire process with us. Mourned this transition and were delicate in approach; they did not mishandle our family. He is an amazing lawyer-negotiator who sought to leave all parties to include my family feeling like a reasonable outcome was achieved, rather than trying to run over the opposition. This did not mean that he got us less than what we were seeking but a fair outcome and one my family could feel good about the outcome. He managed expectations and has a warrior spirit. I know it seems cliche but he is definitely a ruby amongst gems. We chose him because he has put in the hours in and out of court; years of federal court experience and challenges of appearing in front of United States District Court Judges within our District; even know how with respect for the newest Judge sworn into the bench. Attorney Palmer understands people, personalities and the peculiarities of each judge. Some judges place more weight on emotion; others on the facts. He can differentiate. He is familiar with local, state and federal practice. He has defended many federal cases with efficiency, time, not over utilizing resources, centering the clients and families while reducing costs for all involved. I urge you to not hire a "good" Federal attorney, hire one with experience and proven successes. Hire Attorney Palmer. He has drafted correspondence, motions and briefs that are well-cited and well-written. He maintains a sense of decorum. He and his team get things done on time. He is confident and is prepared each time we see him. The top reason Attorney Palmer is a superb lawyer is his reasonable accessibility. He made himself available to us, and I did not have to beg him to talk with me. No matter the day or hour, he was responsive and he still is responsive; he has not abandoned us. He is flexible, reasonable, trust worthy and understanding. In the law world there is a saying "there's nothing more expensive than a cheap lawyer." Fortunately, I happen to agree; Attorney Scott Palmer will not take advantage of you or your resources. He has something that most attorneys lack, humility and his integrity precedes him.

Defense Attorney of Record for Felony Probation Revocation

I was on a ten year Felony Probation in Dallas County for 3 separate man/del charges and was transferred to Smith County from Dallas for work. Roughly two years into my probation, I caught a bogus charge in Smith County which could have sent me to the Pen for 22 years. I didn't know what to do but I ...knew I needed to start with Dallas before Smith County locked me up, again, and sent me to Dallas County. I would have lost an awesome job (I am still employed with the same company and have promoted 5 times since I first met Scott), my freedom, and everything dear to me. I called Scott and went and met with him the same day. After a 30 minute consult, I knew he was the guy who could help me. I hired him and we had to go to court five times in five consecutive months but it paid off. He got the revocation dropped and referred me to a top notch attorney in Tyler to work the Smith County case. I know he put some time into the Smith County case with the lawyer there, as well, but I never saw an extra bill for it. His office staff is superb. Courteous, respectful, and kind. Dallas County has since released me five years early and that would never have happened had Scott not been so diligent. He is an excellent defense attorney and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a criminal defense.

The Best Defender!!

I was facing two false charges (family violence, and interference with a 911 call) placed on me by a vindictive wife looking for an upper hand in divorce. I was completely innocent of her charges, but quickly learned that the deck is stacked against you in defending yourself from these baseless char...ges. The threshold for proof is so low that someone simply needs to claim they felt pain in some manner and you are considered guilty, proof is not necessarily needed in this situation. She was pushing these charges full force and I had found my once simple and easy life completely thrown out the window. I went the normal route of finding the most well-known attorney (who shall remain nameless) in this area, but after a lot of wasted money, I learned that I was just another client and my story meant very little to him. He secured the standard plea bargain and informed me that I should accept, otherwise I was taking a foolish risk in court. I was innocent, and for better or worse, I was going to fight to be clear of these charges. I needed real help and needed someone that was willing to fight for me. After much research and interviews, I finally came to Scott Palmer. When I met Scott, he took my story seriously, and did not lay out the standard attorney sales pitch. I did not budge from my stance that I am innocent, and will not accept any deal under any circumstances. His attitude and seriousness told me everything I needed to know that he was the right one to fight for me. As the trial drew closer, my wife attempted to create even bigger problems by threatening me to go to the DA and prosecutor unless I gave her what she demanded at any given time. Every time Scott was on the phone immediately informing the DA/prosecutor of what my wife was doing, even before she had a chance to call. He was pro-active in every sense of the word. When the trial finally came, he showed his true worth. He was so passionate and energetic about my defense, it was as if he was defending himself and not just doing a job. He took every witness (the arresting officer and my wife's best friend) and skillfully turned them into our witness. And when my wife was on the stand, he took someone that I believed was an unbreakable liar, and made her cave under all her lies. He knew the details of my wife's claims and reports even better than she did. He kept her on the stand for hours, and made the trial about her lies. Most amazingly, he even got her to admit on the stand that she was using these charges to get money out of me. In ways I would have never imagined, he got her to crack completely under his questions. Even in the face of a judge that was trying to give the prosecution an edge, he was completely fearless and did not let up on the pressure until she came clean. He was so thorough, that when I finally took the stand, the prosecutors seemed lost. They questioned me for less than ten minutes and their final question was "so your assessment is that your wife is a conniving, manipulative, evil person?" I had never made that claim the entire trial, but Scott had shown my wife's true colors to such an extent, the frustrated prosecutor simply let her own view slip. He was so good that my wife's only mention of the case since then was that I got lucky because I found a "damn good attorney." I have never written a review of anything, but Scott Palmer's skill, professionalism, tenacity, and brilliance demands recognition. He is a lion in the court room, and a true defender in every sense of the word. Your case becomes his case, and he leaves no doubt that he is going to fight his hardest for you. Though I am anonymous on here, if you interview Scott and have a similarly hopeless situation, Scott has my permission to have you contact me to learn more about what this man did to save my name and my life. If you are facing tough criminal charges, I could not recommend anyone more highly than Scott Palmer.

The BEST!!

Mr. Palmer and his associates took over my motorcycle accident case when it became too much for me to handle. Another driver ran a red light and hit me while on my motorcycle. I had no broken bones but did have some head trauma. I was having hard time trying to negotiate the medical bills by myself. ...Mr. palmer and his staff took over and washed alot of the stress away. The settlement was more than fair for all parties involved in my eyes. I have always had an enormous fear of the legal system and just didn't trust attorneys. Mr. Palmer put all my fears to rest. He and his staff kept me informed of anything regarding my case. The fees were more than fair and the professionalism by all in that office was outstanding. The entire staff is honest with you upfront and throughout. There is no fancy lawyer talk without all full understanding what it means. I appreciated him and everything his staff did for me. I cannot tell you enough how highly I would recommend him.
