Jim Charles McGough Jr

Jim practices in the areas of adoption, criminal defense, business law, estate planning, guardianships, and probate.

Jim served as an Assistant District Attorney and Director in the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. He prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases including drug crimes, DUI’s, manslaughter, bogus checks, and domestic violence. He was a director responsible for several divisions in a large state prosecutor’s office, and was awarded the Misdemeanor Prosecutor of the Year. He currently serves as the Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Collinsville, Oklahoma.

Jim has extensive business and leadership experience through service in senior executive positions at companies in both the public and private sector, as well as senior leadership positions in the government legal sector. His experience in the business public sector includes various management positions, including General Manager, of a multi-million dollar commercial printing division of a New York Stock Exchange and S&P SmallCap 600 listed company. In the private sector he served as Vice President and General Manager of a multi-million dollar regional sign manufacturing company, and as an executive for a large commercial printing company. Jim also has extensive experience in starting, operating and selling private companies.
Jim is a graduate of both a three year Management Development Program at a publicly traded corporation and the 2011-2012 Oklahoma Bar Association Leadership Academy.
