Biography

Monica Miller Collison is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office of Stange Law Firm. She works with individuals and families throughout Oklahoma County and the surrounding areas, helping clients navigate challenging legal situations with compassion, preparation, and practical insight.
Monica earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1999. During law school, she was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honorary Fraternity and selected as the law student representative for the University of Oklahoma’s interdisciplinary training program focused on child abuse and neglect. She also received Dean’s Honor Roll recognition and earned an Academic Achievement Award in Trial Techniques. While completing her legal education, Monica worked as a family law student intern for Professor Robert S. Spector and clerked for the late Honorable Glenn Dale Carter in the juvenile and domestic relations courts. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University.
Before joining Stange Law Firm, Monica maintained her own legal and consulting practice in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, where she advised clients on a wide range of legal and business matters. In 2017, she founded the Oklahoma Rural Association, an organization focused on economic development, healthcare, education, and energy initiatives in rural communities across the state. Monica has also served as President and CEO of an Oklahoma-based insurance company and held leadership positions as executive director, general counsel, and legislative liaison for one of Oklahoma’s largest domestic insurance and nonprofit organizations. Her diverse background in law, business leadership, and public policy provides clients with a broad perspective when addressing important legal matters.
Monica has remained active in numerous professional and community organizations, including the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Leadership Oklahoma, the SALT Program, the Downtown Edmond Business Association, and the Oklahoma Automobile Insurance Plan.
Outside of the office, Monica enjoys traveling, spending time at her family farm, and supporting her children in their academic, athletic, and performing arts activities across the country.
