Constantly let down by Matt

I am extremely disappointed with Matt’s handling of my brother’s case. From the start, my brother has felt neglected, stressed, and uncertain about his situation. Despite multiple promises to speak with adjusters about settlements, Matt fails to follow through. My brother constantly has to remind him... to take action, leaving him feeling ignored and unsupported. Matt’s lack of communication and attention to detail is incredibly frustrating. When my brother expressed concerns about the low 5% rating for his injury, Matt advised him that he wasn’t a doctor and that my brother would need to seek a second opinion. However, Matt offered no referrals or guidance on who to contact for that second opinion. My brother had to reach out to his nurse case manager, Amanda, who informed him that he hadn’t seen his doctor but rather the doctor’s assistant—someone he had only seen twice. It’s troubling that an assistant is making the final decisions on such a serious matter, especially when my brother was hit by a semi-truck and it’s a miracle he’s alive. Matt’s lack of support and failure to provide proper guidance on critical matters like this is causing ongoing stress. The emotional toll is so overwhelming that my brother is now considering moving out of state to escape the situation. Matt’s neglect is making an already difficult time even worse. I strongly advise anyone considering Matt’s services to be cautious.

Thorough and Competent!

Matt Ketchum was a true professional in the way my case was handled. From start to finish he consistently demonstrated that he was the right attorney for the job. I highly recommend Matt to handle any accident your involved in.

He wanted a safe thing

I hired Matt many years ago regarding a case where I was in my car at a stop and essentially rammed by a truck owned by a large corporation. I was young and did not know the questions to ask. He refused to take the case of property damage and only wanted to take the injury. Months would go by with no... contact and unreturned phone calls. To my knowledge he talked to the corporate loss specialist only 3 times. The guy ended up calling me to ask if I got a new lawyer he was unaware of because he wanted to close the case out. I eventually had to get others in his firm involved to get a response from him. He advised me to avoid court because he didn't know what the jury would do. Of course the stress of me fighting over my cars value, medical expenses and dealing with a corporate loss mitigation specialist didn't help any of this. Almost a year later the negotiated payout was less than $7000, which didn't even cover my medical expenses and required me to sign a waiver even though I was still in physical therapy. My vehicle was fixed but with low quality parts. My financial situation was so bad I didn't think I had a choice at the time. The amount of time spent on my case was very minimal and he failed to protect my interests or my pocketbook.
