The first law firm that I thought of was Norwood & Norwood because I had met Mr. Norwood before. On June 13, 2015 I got a call from a friend of mine that was recently divorced and it sounded like total chaos and I was afraid for her saftey because she wouldn't say antyhing. I called 911 to because ...I was afraid for her. Apon my arrival at her apartment complex there was a police officer with his lights on. 911 said to go talk to him. I explained to him why I was there. While waiting for the officers to locate my friend, the officer asked if I had been drinking. I explained I had 1 glass of wine hours ago. He had me do feild sobriety tests. Due to my medical conditions, I could not take the tests. He made me do them anyway and I was unsuccesscul. He then made me do a breathalizer 3 times but there was no reading. He then wrongfully arrested me. I had met with Mr. Nelson the day before my trial and he made me very comfortable in his ability for my trial. At court he greeted me and made sure I was fully informed of what was to happen. At my trial Mr. Nelson spoke to the officer and prosecutor about dropping my case but the officer insisted on proceeding with trying me for DWI. I was terrified but Mr. Nelson was very confident and comfotable in trying my case. Mr. Nelson was able to use the body camera footage of the officer to discredit his testimony and I was found NOT GUILTY of both charges of DWI, VICL. I would recommend JON NELSON to anyone in a similar situation. My friend that came to the trial for support stated she wished had Mr. Nelson as her attorney when she had a similar situation. With the Not Guilty verdict I was able to be reimbursed my fees paid to the state to get my license back and get this arrest sealed from my arrest record. The office staff was very helpful and kept me informed through the 10 month wait for my trial and was able to handle all my paperwork thouroughly and with a wonderful attitude.
