I was turned down twice for disability, took my case to McKinnon Law Firm and have not regretted it. I have a hearing scheduled for next month, and I filed a year ago. Don't waste your time trying to handle your own SS Disability Claims. You will most likely waste over two years of your time, and will be denied disability at least three times. I had over thirty years of federal, state and local criminal investigatory experience, along with related dealings with fed...eral and state courts and a multitude of government and private attorneys and evidentiary scenarios. I believed what SS told me...that I could handle my case successfully. Big mistake. I provided them reams of medical records, testimony and other evidence...including, but not limited to the Veteran's Administration Determination that I was 100% Totally and Permanently Disabled and was taking nearly twenty different prescriptions for various qualifying disabilities. SS DID NOT CARE. After my third denial I hired the McKinnon Law Firm because it became very apparent that I was never going to overcome the complexities of SS Law and Procedures without help. Laura McKinnon and her staff immediately took my records, obtained more records and testimony, got me a Disability Hearing before a real Social Security Disability Judge and won my case. I basically wasted two years of absolute frustration and agony trying to do something way beyond my knowledge and capabilities. My biggest regret is that I didn't hire this Law Firm at the very beginning. They are professionals.

Laura has handled two cases for me and is now in the process of the 3rd. She is the greatest lawyer I have ever meet.
