I have used James for previous matters of mine and referred many of my friends and family members to him. He is an attorney that goes above and beyond to get the job done. He has never let me or anyone I know down. I highly recommend him to anyone and continue to do so whenever anyone asks me if I ...

I have used James a couple of times for mostly paperwork agreement type things. I'm impressed with both his legal knowledge as well as understanding of human nature and how the real world works. I would not hesitate to recommend James for legal representation, especially if you need someone both aggr...

James Hornsey represented me in my divorce and he was extremely knowledgeable. I honestly would be very afraid to be on the team opposing him, since he is seriously tough as nails when it comes to knowing the law and defending your rights. I was amazed, just when I thought he had pulled out all of ...

James represented me through my ongoing divorce. He was honest and upfront - discussing my options and reviewing information I had provided, as well as explaining what might be the best course of action, and why. As my case drew out (as circumstances do happen), he re-assessed and adjusted as neces...

He gave my ex everything he asked for, didn't even try to defend me. He settled out of court, without my permission, with the opposing lawyer. Then he had the nerve to come and lecture me on his personal beliefs of how he would feel if he were the other guy. Boo hoo , not sure whose lawyer he was,...
Ethical and professional rules of conduct limit what I can and should say in responding to a negative review like this. I can, however, say that I am absolutely unaware of any former client of mine having voiced these types of concerns before and that if the person who left this will contact me directly I'd gladly see if we can determine if there was some misunderstanding about the outcome of your case and the manner in which my services were provided. To others reading this, I would point out that my standard client agreement indicates that I will take no action to dispose of or settle your case without your advance knowledge and approval and that I do sometimes try to get my clients to see the viewpoints of the opposing party so as determine what he or she finds important and so we can consider those issues in settlement discussions and trial preparation. I've had hundreds if not a thousand or more clients and while some of them may have been unhappy with the outcome of their individual matters I think I can safely say they'd each tell you I worked hard for them up to and though the end of their respective cases.
"James and I tried one of our first divorce cases together against a "seasoned" divorce attorney in Little Rock. I think the result was better than anyone expected. Since that time, have opposed each other and worked together. He is a formidable opponent and a good co-counsel. He definitely will stand his ground and fight for the best possible outcome for his client."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known James for years and battled him many times. He fights hard for his clients and doesn't back down. Tough man and lawyer."
"James Hornsey is a excellent divorce and criminal defense attorney. I cannot speak to his compliance in other areas, but wager it is also sterling. He possesses an extensive knowledge of the law and is often asked to take the bench when regular judges need a replacement. Highly recommended."
